Summer Camp | Benjamin Preparatory School

Renaissance Kids camp is a true haven for young children with a love for the arts. It is the perfect choice for families seeking a safe, friendly, and creative arts experience. Here children explore the visual arts, dance, voice, acting and performance. We offer deep, engaging programs for young artists at all levels in a traditional summer arts camp setting.

Renaissance Kids Camp enables students to develop the necessary skills needed to perform on the world’s stage. This unique hands-on environment provides students with the opportunity to hone their skills by learning from experienced instructors.

Focus

Students will be well-versed in a variety of acting, singing and dancing styles. The child friendly techniques allow them to effectively learn how to interpret scripts, dance movements and songs. They’ll also be taught how to present themselves professionally in performance situations–either at auditions, on stage or on film. All students will present a final performance through a production at the end of the summer session for family, friends, care givers and staff.

We do not interview or audition children prior to participate in our camp; rather, we allow each participant to explore their gifts and interest and allow them to develop those talents in a positive way.

Our aim is to attract families who share our understanding of what an arts camp can and should offer to children who deserve a well rounded camp experience.
